My work connects the look of an experience with how it behaves. I trained as a painter, took that practice into VR for a PhD at Glasgow School of Art, and spent the following years building real-time 3D for research, enterprise and my own published work. That path means I'm equally at home sculpting a hero asset, writing the shader that renders it and building the Unity systems that make it interactive.
Recent work includes end-to-end delivery of a browser-based enterprise XR platform for a Fortune Global 500 technology company as Head of Technical Art & XR, and real-time environments for driver-in-the-loop safety research at the University of Southampton. My book, Virtual Reality as a New Tool in Painting, was published by Palgrave Macmillan in 2026.
You work directly with me. If a project needs additional specialists, I'll say so and make their role and scope clear before we begin.
I trade through Stanton Interactive Ltd, my company.
